It's Super Cute Tuesday, and I thought I had the perfect outfit. Long dress, chunky earrings, summer scarf, espadrilles. Cute with a capital C. Only the summer scarf idea proved practically life-threatening. I know, I know, any type of scarf on an AUGUST Texas day should be outlawed. But I figured I'd be spending most of my day in the sub-zero A/C of the museum so it would fine. Didn't count on the scarf's ability to cinch around my windpipe and cut off my oxygen supply. I nearly strangled myself no less than three times today--the scarf got stuck in my rolly chair, stuck to velcro while I tried to moved around these big climbing cushions, and then I inadvertently stepped on it and almost jerked my head off. It's not like I'm new to the scarf scene. For the love, I lived in Boston for 6 years! But this scarf was a slippery little devil--literally.So end of the day: Scarf--3, Leah--0. We'll see if I try for a rematch.

I love this post. It made me laugh. I am so glad that you are ok. By the way - you are always cute.
Yes, the scarf is a trend that I have let pass by me. Perhaps it's my Florida blood, my chubby cheeks that would be accentuated or the fear of suffering the same tragic death as Isadora Duncan. I'm glad you survived.
But I bet you did look super cute! Oh the things we suffer for beauty and fashion! :) I'm obsessed with scarfs too, but they are counter-intuitive on hot muggy days... just wait for fall!
Even though "the scarf" won, I'm glad to know you survived.
Leah, hope this isn't too late. Don't give up on the scarf, but maybe try some alternate ways of tieing it. . . here's a visual.http://www.shopruche.com/images/blog_images/scarf25_sm2.jpg
I think 21-28 may be the safest options for you!
