I made a few aprons. Amazingly enough, I still have friends who I haven't made aprons for yet. 2007 and 2008 have been the Apron Years...my go-to gift for pretty much everything and everyone. Birthdays, graduations, Christmas. I've pretty much got it down to a science. Moving to Dallas has helped expand the apron-less people in my life, so I might not need to come up with a new gift for 2009. Wouldn't that be nice?
It's been trickier to find cute fabric here. I miss my Cambridge Quilt Shop. :(
And then for my bedroom, I did this lovely display of framed papers above my bed. I guess that isn't super crafty. I mean really all you have to do is cut paper to the right size. But I do feel pretty proud of all the measuring, marking and leveling I did to hang them in the right place. (Thanks to Jennifer Madden for teaching me how to do it right! Working in a museum does give you some training in that department).
Hmm...what's next on my project list? I have some childhood photos I want to scan and then make a display out of to put up in my living room. And I need to make an apron and doll apron for my niece Anna's b-day. Any suggestions or things you want me to try?

I want to live by you and do crafty projects. Love them. I have loved making Amy Butler's little stash and dash pouches. They are fun to make. Give those a try. They make really cute gifts - especially the medium size one.
In my last apartment, I framed paper and it made the best art. Yours looks beautiful!
I love the aprons! They make me want to cook and the only other thing that makes me want to cook is starvation. If I had all the time in the world I would try my hand at stained-glass. I had a class in high school and I made the rose from Disney's Beauty and the Beast (remember how the first part of the story is told in stained glass?). I'd also do a Hawaiian Breadbasket quilt because the entire thing would have to be done by hand.
LOVE the bedroom decor. So, so cute!
I just starting making burp cloths, super cute if you know anyone having babies! I'm not an expert seamstress or anything so I have some work to do, but Hazel hasn't really complained where her spit up goes thus far!
I am so excited that you finally have a BIG bed! I need your apron pattern.
Ooh, keep going on the aprons, they're darling! And you may have a friend or two in Salt Lake that don't have a Leah Claire apron yet! And good job on the framed paper, what a great idea!
Your bedroom is adorable! It is slightly reminiscent of Blair's bed... ahhh, memories.
Soo cute Leah! I am sort of jealous of your craftiness and your aprons. I made an apron for my sister this year for Christmas and it was not nearly as cute as yours. Sometime you will have to show me your tricks.
