Hear ye, hear ye! For the free First Tuesdays event I'm in charge of at the Dallas Museum of Art we set up a royal photo shoot this month for kids and their families (our theme was "Kings & Queens"). My vision was to have kids dress up in costumes and then be able to step into a portrait and have their photos taken. I thought my idea was fairly simple, but when I turned it over to our Exhibits department, they built me an entire wall of frames. It looked like the side of a little house. It was way bigger and way better than I had imagined. (I did fear a little bit that I was going to get fired for having gone so over the top, but I still have a job--whew! and it was a big success). Families seemed to love it.

My co-workers and I tried it out too!

Leah, you are SO CREATIVE! What a great idea! And the photos turned out ADORABLE!!! The museum is SO LUCKY to have you there!!!!
I love it!! Can they leave it up all month?
Fabulous idea! And how fun that you can take your idea and turn it over to a team to run with. Love it.
That is so fun! What a good idea! I would have loved something like that as a kid. I'm not surprised it was a success with your ideas behind it! :)
That rocks...I wish Austin was closer to Dallas!!!
that is such a fabulous idea.
Leah, I told David Rindlisbacher about your First Tuesday and he wants to come to one! He told me, "The BYU Art Museum needs Leah." He took his twin granddaughters to the BYU museum this summer and the security guard followed them around the whole time! Love, Mom
